Letter from Edward McCormick

Dear Colleague:

We are pleased to provide you this report on the Educational Conference Board's First Annual Policy Conference, Investment and Accountability for Student Success held on December 6, 2004, at the Crowne Plaza in Albany.

As we promised, we are providing a printed review of the proceedings of the entire conference including information on each of the speakers (including a copy of Ira's poem), summaries of the small group discussions in which you participated, a list of registrants and the results of the evaluations you submitted.

We are happy to note that you valued highly the time you spent with us and what you learned from the experts we engaged to provide knowledge, expertise and their visions for the future of education in light of new perspectives on educational finance and new visions for the accountability of educational systems, processes and personnel.

We are pleased that you chose to join us at this event, and we hope it will be the first in a long line of informative, stimulating and challenging conferences sponsored by the ECB.
